Where is the wedding taking place?

Our wedding ceremony will be held on September 6, 2025, at 45 Waldron View Lane on Orcas Island, Washington. The reception will follow at West Beach Farm, located just down the road.

Please park your vehicle at West Beach Farm and walk to the ceremony site. For guests unable to make the walk, we will provide a designated shuttle service to transport you down the road. Kindly let us know in your RSVP if you will require shuttle assistance.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is semi-formal. Be sure to bring comfortable shoes, as the reception is located on a farm.

Can I bring children to the wedding?

Our wedding will be an adults-only celebration, as we hope to create a relaxed atmosphere for all our guests to enjoy. That said, we completely understand that childcare can be challenging to arrange for babies. If it’s absolutely necessary to bring your baby, please reach out to Claire or Fernando at wedcj2024@gmail.com.

Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?

We want to make sure everyone we love can celebrate with us! If your invitation includes a plus one, their name will be listed on the RSVP. If you have questions or concerns about your plus one, please get in touch with Claire or Fernando (wedcj2024@gmail.com).

What’s the weather like on Orcas Island in September?

September on Orcas Island is typically mild, with daytime temperatures averaging in the 60s to 70s. Evenings can be cooler, so we recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl.

What time should I arrive for the wedding?

The ceremony will begin at 3 PM. We recommend arriving at least 15-30 minutes early to find your seat and enjoy the view.

Should I rent a car?

A car is recommended if you plan to explore the island during your stay. You can rent one at SeaTac Airport or on the island through OI Rental Car. Shuttle and bike rental options are also available.

Will there be transportation provided on the island?

While we won’t have organized transportation, taxis, rental cars, and shuttles are available on the island. Be sure to plan your transportation in advance.
